Many other classic car enthusiasts like to stop by at our Columba Cream Cafe for a coffee, a bite to eat and a bit of shopping, on their way up into the Highlands. From Hawks flying through hoops, to magicians and Pipe bands. The City of Perth Gold Cup is now established as one of the biggest and perhaps the most prestigious jumping race of the summer in the UK. There is plenty of action from 11.00am onwards. The falconry displays and ferret racing in the Parade ring prior to racing are excellent. Pipe bands will interrupt your third drink but there will be plenty of time for more and a wide range of opportunities for lunch will be on offer. Fun for all the family and a great introduction if you have not been before.

  Palace hosts the Scottish Game Fair, from Friday 4th Every year, Scottish Liqueur Centre has a trade stand at the Scottish Game Fair, where we will be offering members of the public free samples of all our liqueurs. Our most famous liqueur is Columba Cream, which you can see in the video above being bottled by Steve and Mike.
Our liqueur is named after St Columba, who in 564AD founded the Christian monastery on the Island of Iona, which has since been used as the burial place of Scottish Kings. Columba Cream is a quite delectable concoction based on a centuries-old family recipe for brose, a traditional Scots drink which was made daily (until the advent of refrigerators) using ingredients readily available on the crofts - whisky, oatmeal, cream, sometimes honey, sometimes fruit. While there is no official record that St Columba ever tasted our brose it is more than likely that he and his monks brewed up something similar on a regular basis.
Columba Cream is available from our online store at www.scottish-liqueur-centre.co.uk

Bruadar at The Atholl Highland Gathering

<img style="margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; Perthshire, world renowned for its soft fruits, inspired us to increase our range of liqueurs. Once again we utilise our fine base liqueur of Scotch malt whisky and honey, but this time we add real fruit to produce three very different products under our S brand; Bramble, Cranberry and Raspberry and Blaeberry Liqueurs. All three recipes include a high concentration of fruit, resulting in a lip-smacking flavour and an aroma which will make you drool! Once again we have ensured that by careful blending the main ingredients can be distinguished on the palate. Unseal a bottle and leave it for a while, if you can, and you will find the fruit really coming to life.

Blaeberry Liqueur

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_L99gLs20Q7M/SDP6fsfA5mI/AAAAAAAAAAw/HrJXo8YDCVw/s320/Blaeberry+Liqueur.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5202777416967186018" />
Blaeberry Liqueur. Perthshire, world renowned for its soft fruits, inspired us to increase our range of liqueurs. Once again we utilise our fine base liqueur of Scotch malt whisky and honey, but this time we add real fruit to produce three very different products under the S brand, Bramble, Cranberry and Raspberry and Blaeberry Liqueurs. All three recipes include a high concentration of fruit, resulting in a lip-smacking flavour and an aroma which will make you drool! In the summer of 1995 we moved the manufacture and sales operation from the Island of Mull to our visitor centre in Bankfoot, Perthshire. The success of Columba Cream Liqueur stimulated the company into producing new, original liqueurs, ideal for today's tastes. Research and development over the period of a year led to the creation of Scottish Highland Liqueur, now rebranded as Bruadar, an amber coloured liqueur which perfectly complements Columba Cream. One of the key ingredients of Bruadar is carefully prepared sloeberries; enough to balance out the sweetness of the honey but not so many as to impart bitterness. The connoisseur will appreciate the maturation of the liqueur in the bottle. Once the bottle is opened, over a period of months the sweetness of the honey is rounded off and the taste of the sloes comes to the fore.

"Bruadar" is Gaelic for "dream" - discover the dream!

Columba Cream

Columba Cream. Scotland's Malt Whisky Cream Liqueur.
