Scottish Liqueur Centre - Carn Mor Celebration of the Cask - 1965

At the Scottish Liqueur Centre, in Perthshire, not only do we make fine Scottish Liqueurs such as Bruadar and Columba Cream. We also bottle our own whiskies. What makes our whisky different from the average run of the mill dram, is that we bottle whisky without the chill-filtering process. This retains all the oils and proteins that are so essential to the flavour.

The Scottish Liqueur Centre has recently launched six new whiskies. By retaining the original name of our own brand bottlings; Carn Mor, we have built on, and brought something quite special to this fine Scottish brand.

Included in this collection are two Carn Mor Celebration of the cask whiskies, distilled by Glen Grant Distillery in 1965. These whiskies were bottled on 29 March 1965, and have lived in a hogshead cask ever since then. They were bottled here at the Scottish Liqueur Centre on 2 June 2008 at a strength of 47.5% and 46.4% abv respectively. These whiskies came from two seperate casks, with cask 2136 producing 121 bottles and cask 2140 producing 155 bottles.

These whiskies are therefore in very short supply. If you wish to find out more about how you can buy a bottle of Carn Mor Glen Grant 1965, please call us on 01738 787044 or email at info@scottish-liqueur-centre.co.uk
